but seriously, great work! i always find it hard to make a subject emote and you've done that here without even letting have eye contact or even see half his face, a great selection of pose, colour and composition, youre such a flippin genius! x x
Thanks loads for your awesome comments! And you know, this makes me think of something Clint Eastwood said in an interview where he was talking about directing. He said, when you're trying to show someone who's sad, you don't really show their face - we know what a person looks like when they cry. It's more emotive and personal to convey it with body language. It's more powerful to show an actor with their back turned to you, than to show tears. That stuck with me, for some reason!
i know now though, maybe my next work will be a little more expressive? x
