Work for color theory. The lines were drawn by hand and scanned into Illustrator. The texture is Batman comic pages I scanned and recolored.

Also, no comments on anatomy! D: That shit is hard and I know where my mistakes lay.

scanned into illustrator? Im thinking Adobe Illust and I had the impression that it was only for text.
Aaaah gosh I CANNOT begin to say where I love this; the pinks and yellows and blacks all go so well together, for so boldly different colours ( I bet they don't even belong within the same spectrum ). It reminds me of pop art, which is so gorgeous. I love how you're experimenting.

No no noooo, Illustrator does SO much. This barely even grazes the surface. I have seen some amazing things on this site created in Illustrator. You can't paint like you can in Photoshop, but that hardly limits your options. I bet, with your style and way of doing things, Illustrator might be a program you want to try out some day. ;]

I know, it's very disappointing!
But both Robin and Nightwing are in Arkham City (which I have yet to buy...).

Here's hoping that whoever directs Batman movies after Christopher Nolan will include Robin. :C

I always found it creepy how all the male robins looked fundamentally exactly the same under the mask. Bruce has a thing for skinny raven haired boys.

I know! When Jason Todd and Dick Grayson have that one Robin costume on (red/green/yellow) they look the damn same. And I can't keep the other costumes in order so I can never remember who's who, anyway. Damien's easy, but I don't count him because I think he's a twat, LOL.

I kind of figured all Robins looked alike because it's the aesthetic. If Robin were tall and bulky, it wouldn't fit (at that point he becomes Nightwing or Batman). If he had blond hair, that wouldn't fit either (seems like most Batman characters have black hair?).

aww I like Damien. Mainly because he is a little twat. :P

Well Tim Drake is tall/bulky with short brown hair in Arkham City, and it looks pretty fitting. And you'd think blond hair would go well with that yellow cape. But then Batman can't be goth without being surrounded by black hair. haha

I haven't played Arkham City yet and I've seen a little, but not enough to know that Tim is in it?! Awesome. :U There's been a disappointing lack of Robins in recent Batman-related things.
And Arkham City seems to be redesigning a few things, but in an excellent way, so I'm not surprised Tim's look fits.
