The one of the right makes me think of May and her monster. Probably because of the stitches on his forehead and the eyes and parts of things and monster I keep seeing all over these gorgeous illustrations. <3

Thanks! And that's alright.
It's cheap gouache (painted with cheap watercolor brushes) and Prismacolor pencils on cheap watercolor paper. I splurge on colored pencils because Prismacolors are just so stinkin' smooth~

The image on the left might be my favorite from this whole series, I cant stop looking at that beautiful nose (there would have been some fist pumping action if I'd painted that nose!) and the cool as chunky monkey ice cream Diamond crystals are just about the raddest thing that my eyes have ever told my brain about. I just love you so hard sometimes! x x
